Information on the processing of hotel guest personal data

(“Hotel Operator”) processes the personal data you provide to the extent necessary, namely name, surname, date of birth, residence, nationality, passport or ID card number, visa number, phone number, email, in order to provide accommodation and related services (performance of contract) and to fulfil the obligations imposed by generally binding regulations in connection with the services provided (e.g. law no. 582/2004 Coll., on local taxes and local fees for municipal waste and small construction waste, Act No. 404/2011 Coll., on the Residence of Non-native persons and on changes and amendments of some Acts). The processing of personal data by the hotel operator is made for a period necessary for the proper fulfilment of the above mentioned processing purposes. Providing personal information to the operator of the hotel is necessary to fulfil the above purposes of the processing. If you fail to provide them, we will not be able to provide the services in question.

The hotel operator keeps by you provided personal information in order to provide accommodation and related services (under the preceding paragraph) in its information system even after provided individual accommodation services and to it related services, where they can be restored on your next visit to our facility by the operator of the hotel, so you will not need to re-provide them to the hotel operator for your next stay. This processing of personal data is undertaken on the basis of legitimate interest of the hotel operator, which is to increase your satisfaction and comfort during your re-accommodation, as the accommodation process is quickened and simplified. The hotel operator keeps your personal information in the information system for a maximum of 5 years from your last stay with us.

You are responsible for the completeness, veracity and accuracy of the provided personal data. In the event of a change in your personal data, you are required to notify us of the change without delay.

Your rights as a person concerned are governed by Articles 12 to 22 of Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46 / EC. As a person concerned, you have the right:

  • to access your personal information,
  • to correct incorrect personal data,
  • to limit (block) the processing of personal data,
  • to object to the processing of your personal data,
  • to the deletion of personal data,
  • to the portability of data,
  • to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, the Personal Data Protection Office of the Slovak Republic, when you suspect that your personal data is being processed in violation of the applicable law.

You have the right to object, for reasons related to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data, which is performed on the basis of the hotel’s legitimate interest. The hotel operator may not further process your personal data unless the necessary legitimate reasons for such processing override your interests, rights and freedom, or the reasons for proving, enforcing, or defending legal claims.

In the event that you apply to the hotel operator about some of the rights of the person concerned under the personal data protection legislation, and your application can not verify the identity of the applicant, or if the hotel operator has reasonable doubts about your identity, the hotel operator reserves the right to request additional information from you to confirm your identity.

Your personal data may, to the extent necessary, also be provided to other entities if it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were acquired, in particular an IT service provider, an accountant. Data provided to third parties may be used solely for the purposes for which personal data were collected.
